Dr. Czerniecki, Uschi, and Ursula
On October 18th, 2010, Ursula lost her battle with pancreatic cancer. A long-time associate of Dr. Czerniecki, Ursula was a driving force in his Dendritic Cell research, in charge of, among other things, growing the individual vaccines used for the participants in the HER-2/neu clinical trial. She will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. We rededicate our efforts in her memory, and will continue the fight that she was such a great part of.
